The aim of this caravan is to make Eurythmy accessible to a wider public, creating a space in which to celebrate one hundred years of development and work within this art.
From July 2011.until June 2012 the involved Eurythmists all over the world will bring Eurythmy to places where either it has never been seen or worked with or where it is usually not to be found.
For example: in railway stations (where, according to the well known german artist Joseph Beuys, spirituality and the mysteries take place), in pubs, streets and plazas, in senior homes, police stations, state schools, city youth centers, post offices and more!!
Or, eurythmy courses which are given for Waldorf-Parents
or lessons with Waldorf School children will take place
in different public locations, open for the community
to either observe or to take part in.
But even if this is all too much activity for you,
you are warmly invited to join the Eu-caravan in spirit!
That means to engage in the activity
by making an obligation (enrolling with the caravan)
to do Eurythmy in this communal sprit between 3-6 pm
wherever you are alone or with others.
The main thing is: It is done with the caravan in mind!
All actions will appear online from March 2011 on.
